Discontinuation of Malware Crusader Forum

MalwareMustDie, NPO (MMD) is a close security research group, which is formed based on trust. It was easier back there when we were in smaller size, we know each other for quite long time as engineers and researchers and we really trust each other very well, like brothers and sisters, every member feels security in conducting their research,

Now the group is getting bigger with a lot of the demand of public activities, and as one of activity was, we had the public forum running, called "Malware Crusaders".

When we formed MMD, we have only one rule, "to follow protocol". Which contains simple rules i.e.: be truthful, or one should inform each others,etc. The penalty of protocol violation is excommunication. And the important thing is people has one chance to break it and that's it. To us, the protocol is our life and security, the one that protects us, our information & privacy, also our research & activities from being compromised, infiltrated, and so on. Shortly. our protocol is everything to us.

In the forum we are trying to conduct the same protocol, for the forum's security itself, since we feel important to protect the members registered in the forum itself.

But there is a hope and there is a reality. And sadly, the reality is the fact that we can not implement our trusted security protocol in the mentioned forum's environment.

Herewith effectively as per today's date stated in the top of the post, I officially announced the "Malware Crusader" forum with its maillist, is not to be part of MMD anymore. And its activities are not related nor connected to MalwareMustDie, NPO Research Group in any aspect.

The arrangement details will not be published in any online environment for the security purpose. And is currently followed properly by the involved parties with the positive motivation to clear issue with the best of intention.

We are very sorry for the inconveniences and thank you all forum's members for the great participation and contribution. Please delete and back up copy of your data / posted research accordingly. The forum is still up for that purpose until the further notice.

Please understand this drastic decision is made for the best of security practice of MMD friends for assuring the continuation of our group and research.

The issue of the topic announced is an internal matter and I really appreciate for anyone to not writing negative posts of the topic, which I saw some and are all incorrect for lacking of facts. There are only limited parties are actually understanding what had happened. And all are working the best for following up the status,.
